Kodiak KINDNESS Project is entering an exciting new chapter, and we are looking for a thoughtful, collaborative leader to help guide the way. For 20 years, KINDNESS has been supporting babies, parents, and families in Kodiak with compassionate, free, and evidence-based infant feeding support. Our next Executive Director will join a dedicated team of staff and volunteers and work closely with the Board of Directors to strengthen the organization, build lasting partnerships, expand funding opportunities, and create a strong foundation for KINDNESS’s continued growth and sustainability. We are looking for a resourceful and strategic leader who values relationships, believes in the power of community, and is excited to champion a mission that makes a meaningful difference in the lives of families. This is a 25-hour-per-week, remote position open to candidates located in Alaska, with occasional travel to Kodiak as needed. Applications are due Monday, October 19. We are accepting applications from qualified International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLCs) to provide occasional hospital lactation consults, support to KINDNESS families, and mentorship to peer counselors.
